Fixing An Interior Door That Won't Stay Open

Have you ever had that door in your home that won't stay open or closed? For those of you that don't know I'm a YouTube video junkie and can find a solution to everything. Months ago I remember scrolling and watching a video on this very thing.
Today my YT addiction paid off! A client asked me to stop over and took a look at their home they're thinking of listing. They have a bedroom door that won't stay open.
This issue is caused by a few things - the wall was framed out of plumb or the door was installed out of plumb. Neither is easy to fix when the walls are drywalled.
Rosie from "Rosie On The House" instructed me to remove the bottom pin if there is a "pair" of hinges. If you have a "pair and a half" (3 hinges), you'll need to remove the center hinge pin.
Take that pin outside to some concrete. Take a hammer and strike the pin near the top of the hinge. Watch those fingers! You want a slight dent in the pin. This creates some friction in the hinge.
Reinstall that pin and BAM! That door is now staying open. My client is very happy and can now read the book they've been using as a door stop.
